Export → .json saves your entire ByteStar vault — all projects, cover art, and encrypted data — into a single portable file. Use this to back up your work or move it to another device.

Import .json restores a previously exported vault. Existing projects are preserved; imported projects are merged in. Locked projects remain encrypted — you'll still need their passwords to open them.

⚠️ Projects are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data or switching browsers will remove them. Use Export regularly to keep a backup.
